Each team was challenged to do charitable work for a
cause/recipient of their choice. They had 4 days to
select a recipient, brainstorm ideas, put together a
plan,
gather sponsors to donate money and products for their
cause, and invite media if they wished. At the end of the week each team did a formal
presentation of their Big Gives to the recipients.
This
challenge showcased the ability to start with nothing
and create something that likely was more than you
thought could be created in each case. It is a powerful
thing and something that comes with our mindset. The "be
abundant" working principle was highlighted as people
like to give more than they like to receive and part of
that is the feeling you get from doing so. That feeling
of giving and not expecting anything in return is a
powerful place to come from. |
